Probabilistic Models for Korean Morphological Analysis
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper discusses Korean morphological analysis and presents three probabilistic models for morphological analysis. Each model exploits a distinct linguistic unit as a processing unit. The three models can compensate for each other’s weaknesses. Contrary to the previous systems that depend on manually constructed linguistic knowledge, the proposed system can fully automatically acquire the linguistic knowledge from annotated corpora (e.g. part-ofspeech tagged corpora). Besides, without any modification of the system, it can be applied to other corpora having different tagsets and annotation guidelines. We describe the models and present evaluation results on three corpora with a wide range of conditions.

Syllable-based probabilistic morphological analysis model of Korean
In this paper, we present a syllable-based probabilistic morphological analysis model of Korean. While the previous morphological analyzers that regardmorpheme as a processing unit, the model exploits syllable as a processing unit in order to endure the unknown word problem. Actually, it does not use any morpheme dictionary. In contract to the previous systems that depend on manually constructe...
متن کاملCoupled common fixed point theorems for $varphi$-contractions in probabilistic metric spaces and applications
In this paper, we give some new coupled common fixed point theorems for probabilistic $varphi$-contractions in Menger probabilistic metric spaces. As applications of the main results, we obtain some coupled common fixed point theorems in usual metric spaces and fuzzy metric spaces. The main results of this paper improvethe corresponding results given by some authors. Finally, we give one exa...

For structural reliability assessment or risk analysis of aging offshore steel structures, it is essential to have a probabilistic model, which contains specific statistical parameters, and predicts long term corrosion loss as a function of time. The aim of this study is to propose such model for offshore jacket platforms in the Persian Gulf. Field measurements for material loss due to uniform ...
متن کاملNumerical probabilistic analysis for slope stability in fractured rock masses using DFN-DEM approach
Due to existence of uncertainties in input geometrical properties of fractures, there is not any unique solution for assessing the stability of slopes in jointed rock masses. Therefore, the necessity of applying probabilistic analysis in these cases is inevitable. In this study a probabilistic analysis procedure together with relevant algorithms are developed using Discrete Fracture Network-Dis...
متن کاملProbabilistic Landslide Risk Analysis and Mapping (Case Study: Chehel-Chai Watershed, Golestan Province, Iran)
The efficiency of three statistical models, AHP surface-weighted density bivariate (semi-quantitative models), stepwise multivariate regression and logistic multivariate regression models were compared in Chehel-Chai watershed in Golestan province, Iran. In current study the hazard map was prepared according to the top model of landslide hazard map. Chehel-Chai watershed is located as one of Go...
